Albino society vote in new leadership

The Albino Society (Chama cha Albino Tanzania ) Arusha branch  recently voted into office its new leaders under the chairmanship  in a meeting held  under the chairmanship of Abdulahi Omari  the national CCAT treasurer.  

During the function held at Police Officers Mess in Arusha  Godson Solomon Mollel was elected Regional Chairman and Daniel Katoroi his deputy  while Ms Happiness R. Koisianga became Secretary.  Sister Martha Mganame was elected Representative to the national convention while places in the regional executive committee were also filled.

The executive committee announced the society had received provisions and other items from the sponsorship of The Netherlands donors through the Albino Unit at Huruma Children’s Centre in Arusha.

The Director of Huruma Children’s Centre, Pastor Godliver Rugumamu said they had decided to support the government’s efforts in curbing cruelty against Albinos in the country.
