Civil servants prepare for netball meet By Titus Munga The Arusha netball team has started training sessions in preparation for October’s inter-ministry competitions known as SHIMIWI. The team players are determined to win this year’s championship trophy. Team captain Joyce Mollel, however, lamented that they were experiencing poor attendance in training sessions as the team members came mainly from the civil service whose work schedule doesn’t allow regular and timely attendance. She said she was planning to get special permission for the players from their employers and called on all sports lovers in Arusha to come out in large numbers to support the team.
