Gold rush spells doom to Yaeda
Signs of Hadza extinction now evident

Just a few weeks after the Arabian hunting firm officially pulled out of Yaeda, a new monster is reported to have moved into the vast valley and intends to unleash even worse destruction.

Yaeda valley lying mostly within Mbulu District in Manyara, with part of it extending to Singida region is currently being visited by  hordes  of people interested  in starting mining activities in the area.

The vast untamed land had since creation been home to a number of indigenous tribes among them the rapidly shrinking population of the Hadza (Singular Hadzabe) bush people.

Construction  of EAC hqs starts October

Construction of the headquarters for the East African Community has been delayed  for a few months following the admission of  Burundi and Rwanda to the  community.

Arusha: What with frequent plane accidents?

It took more than 24 hours for search teams to find remains of the aircraft which was reported missing on Thursday, July 3 shortly after taking off from Arusha Airport.

The plane; a Cessna C-182, carrying three officers from the Wildlife department was on the way to Loliondo but never made it. The aircraft reportedly, crashed onto a mountain in Monduli district killing all the three occupants.

Only three weeks earlier on an army helicopter had flown from Arusha Airport heading to Dodoma but also never made it to its destination. The chopper’s crash however occurred much earlier after its take off; it crashed in Matevesi wilderness, a few kilometers from the terminal.
