A memorial tower erected in hour of 20 people who
perished in a road accident on June 23 this year at
Meserani along Dodoma road in Monduli district.
A mini bus heading to Arusha town carrying the
20 people was rammed by a seven-tonne lorry
carrying sand. Photos of the mangled wreckages
have been emblazoned on the walls of the tower,
a deadly reminder of the hazards of reckless and
dangerous driving. A plaque for the tower was
unveiled by the Prime Minister, Edward Lowassa
