gets new leaders Munisi retains post of secretary general by Matilda Kirenga Arusha District Football Association now has new office bearers. The general meeting held at the Eland hotel last week and attended by 63 representatives elected the new leadership after the expiry of tenure of the old one that has been in office for the past three years. The new leaders are: Hussein Lembrit (chairman) with 45 votes against his contestant Ally Mtumwa who got 18 votes. Vice chairman Dunia Dionis - 48 votes against Frank Swai’s one vote. Robert Munisi became secretary general scooping 33 votes. Assistant secretary general - Seif Nassoro - 62 votes against one vote for Emmanuel Mkundi. Sarubare J. Lendisa took over the ADFA treasury with 56 votes. Executive committee members are: Elisha Sironga (44 votes), Abdul Razak Kondo (29 votes) and David Nyambele (29 votes). The representatives to the regional committee is Omar Walii Ally. The newly elected officers will be in office for a period of three years. The new leaders promised to identify talents among the youth and develop them.
