TWENDE’s first AGM TWENDE is an Arusha based NGO working on development and dissemination of Appropriate Technology and also seeks to encourage innovation. It was formed almost a year ago, by a group of enthusiasts who would like to see more micro-economic activity at grass roots level in Arusha Region. It would like to help would-be entrepreneurs to set up sustainable businesses by helping them to select business opportunities appropriate to them, giving them business training and linking them to micro-finance organisations. Now the time for the first Annual General Meeting is approaching and it will be held at the Golden Rose Hotel, Manyara Room, on Tuesday 29th May at 6.00pm. Anyone interested in supporting TWENDE, morally, financially, or by giving of their appropriate expertise, will be very welcome to attend. Or, email to elsworth@habari.co.tz.
