| Haydom's new director to be installed Sunday

Dr. Øystein Olsen, the son of the immediate former Medical Director of
Haydom Lutheran Hospital the late Dr. Ole Halgrim Evjen Olsen is
schedule to be installed as the new Medical Director on Sunday ,
February 26.
According to the General Secretary of Mbulu Diocese of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT), the Reverend Lazaro Rohho, the
installation ceremony would be presided by the Bishop of the Diocese,
the Right Reverend Zebedayo Daudi and will be witnessed by people of
Haydom and invited guests from Norway.
The new Medical Director, Dr. Øystein Olsen (42) grandson of the
founders of the Hospital, Dr. Olaf and Borghild Olsen, was appointed
last yearto the post following the death of his father Dr, Ole Halgrim,
who passed way on 29th May, last year at his home in Mandal, Norway.
Olaf and Borghild founded the church hospital at Haydom in 1955.
Borghild died in 1970 at Haydom and she was buried there while Dr. Olaf
returned to Norway in 1973 at the age of 80.
Øystein assumed his new responsibility at Haydom mid of December last
year.
Reverend Rohho said that the event will also be followed by launching of
the new Board of the Hospital which will be chaired by Bishop Daudi.
