| Karatu Football League kicks off by Eligius Gutta The Karatu District Football Federation has made an official announcement of the District League timetable which kicks off on 10th September at Bondeni grounds within Karatu town. Six teams that have met the league conditions as per Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) directive are participating in the league. According to the timetable released in Karatu on 3rd September during the KDFF executive meeting, the teams have been split into group A and B. On the 10th September, Karatu United of Group A will meet Marera also of Group A. On the 11th September Group B teams of Haymu and Kibaoni will clash. Matches will be on again on 12th September with a clash between Marera and Rhino from Group A, on the 13th Kibaoni versus Cheater (Group B), 14th September, Rhino verses Karatu United (Group A) and league wind up match will be on 16th September between Cheater and Haymu both from Group B. According to the release signed by the KDFF secretary, Andrea Mbati, there will be close observation of TFF football league rules.
