An assessment on the magnitude of the economic impact of the presence of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) on Arusha's economy reveals a substantive inflow of cash into the local economy but more could have been injected had more of the overall ICTR procurement funds been spent in Arusha.


 

TATO expresses concern over parks fee hike

The Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) has expressed concern over the Tanzania National Parks and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism indifference in responding to a myriad of requests that the association made with regard to the hiked parks entrance fees.


 

Wildlife officer succumbs to poachers attack
