General Tyre sponsors RC Babu in Kilimanjaro marathon

The Arusha's Regional Commissioner, Mr. Mohammed Babu takes part in the
Kilimanjaro Marathon as a General Tyre East Africa runner.
Patron of the Wazee Club of Arusha, Babu on Sunday February 27 joins forces with
other 2,000 marathoners in Moshi. GTEA contributions in sponsorship of the RC
will go to charity.
General Tyre's involvement in this year's marathon will also support up and
coming marathoners from Karatu, Mbulu, Babati, Arusha area as well as
handicappedrunners.
The event will comprise 42.2km, 21.1km and 5km events. Over 2,000 runners from
over 15 countries are expected to participate. With the official backing of
Tanzania Tourist Board, the Tanzania Amateur Athletics Association, this year's
Kilimanjaro Marathon is expected to make an impact in Tanzania's sporting and
social welfare endeavours.
