Wishes awash
If wishes were horses, to ride astride
In times of honeymoon, or waves of tides
One would scale the moon, if not the Mars
Exploring the universe, if not the baboons
If wishes were horses, every one would ride
If wishes were horses, to ride astride
One would wish to ride, floating with ease
Walking on oceans, like the biblical tale
Or conquering empires, with the ease of sword
That life is, the pain and anguish
If wishes were horses, every one would ride

Without even the saddles, to comfort the rider
Or the remorse soul, to leak the wounds
Now bleeding anew, corroded with saline
That inhabits in spirits, the heart of man
If wishes were horses, every one would ride

To flirt and flow , in bliss like Solomon
Or fly and flower, like the butterflies of beauty
If wishes were horses, every one would ride

Life would varnish like smoke, bellowing below
Like David decreed, to kill in malice
For the lust of the flesh, beauties abound
