The late Mussa Msoffe (47), reported to have been shot dead by a Police man in Moshi last week in circumstances yet to be clarified. The victim was a Building Inspector with the Arusha Municipal Council but residing in Moshi. The Police said that the shooting was accidental, but Arusha’s Mayor, Hon. Paul Lota Laizer said an investigation has to be done.
Some of the delegates who attended the launch of the 2003 East African Human Rights Report on January 15 at the Arusha Hotel. The report is an initiative of the East Africa Law Society and the East African Human Rights Institute.
