Felista Stephen (36), whose case was being heard at the Primary Court in Levolosi, is reported to have committed the offence last year in Baraa area. Felista was reported to have wielded a machete in the face of one Gildi Lemari during a quarrel threatening to kill the plaintiff. In another case, Alphonce Allen (24), a resident of Unga Limited has appeared at the Arusha Primary Court for allegedly hurling s insults against Lilian Wilfred who is blind in one eye. The charges were read before the Senior Primary Court Magistrate, Mwanaidi Lemmy, by the court secretaries early this week. It was alleged that last Saturday the 24th of January 2004 the accused threatened the plaintiff that he would remove the other eye as well. Allen is also accused to have harassed Lilian based on the
fact that she was female and though he has denied the charges he lacked sureties
to back his bail bond. He is still under court custody until February 9 when his
