* Explain the concepts of financial accounting, management accounting and financial control;

* Define the roles and responsibilities of the governing body and managers in financial management;

* Prepare effective budgets;

* Develop relevant systems for safeguarding organisations' assets and describe the components of internal control system;

* Highlight the role of auditing and how it contributes to management information systems, control and decision making;

* Apply the skills required to prepare and interpret different types of reports relevant to NGOs.
