According to the company’s Marketing Manager, Violet Mfuko, the new branch located along Shule road is a one-stop-shop for their clients travel needs. Hima Tours and Travel which deals in car hire, mountain climbing, accommodation and reservations, wildlife safaris and trekking, cultural tourism, air ticketing, cargo handling and delivery , beach holiday safaris, camping safaris, and staff transport and transfers, has been on stream for the last 12 years and has now emerged as one of the leading tour companies in the country. "Our focus at the moment is to satisfy the needs of our clients better than our competitors", said Violet. She also said that the company’s well maintained fleet of vehicles was one of the company’s best selling points in the region. "We are second to non when it comes to customer service and care", said Violet. "We expect to re-position ourselves in more strategic point in order to meet the ever growing needs of our clients", she said. On tourism in the region, Violet said there was a wide market in the region and all that was needed was to expand operations to other areas in order to increase both customer share and market share.
