In the old days, people were very much opposed to western religions such as Christendom but now even those who are not baptised, admit that the Christian faith is not a bad thing.

In fact, it is through evangelization that this country has experienced development. It was the missionaries who introduced formal education, modern farming methods, medical facilities and laid the foundation for the current improved communication systems.

The gospel has helped to unite various indigenous people who in the past were divided by community conflicts and tribal differences. Nowadays, people from all walks of life worship together as one as the church keeps growing to reach even more brethren.

Besides, Church-owned schools were the foundations of modern days educated people and experts serving the country.

Evangelization has helped to wipe out some rather bad customs that were being practised in the early days while at the same time assisted in cultivating peaceful co-existence between different ethnic groups.

Churches are also at the helm when it comes to development projects in the community.
