The newly introduced Tembo Card payment system by the Co-operative Rural Development Bank (CRDB), which operates by Automated Teller Machines (ATM) facilitates customers and non customers to make transactions without using cash. Dr. Charles Kimei, Managing Director of CRDB said Tembo Card has gained popularity throughout the country and plans were underway to link it with Visa International for universal acceptance.
