Baby dumped in trench at SombetiniBy Matilda Kilenga Police in Arusha have found a dead body of a baby wrapped in a plastic bag and dumped in a trench at Sombetini in Arusha Municipality. Speaking to this reporter, the Arusha Regional Police Commander, Mr. James Kombe said that the dead body whose mother was yet to be known, had been preserved in the mortuary of the Mount Meru Regional Hospital . Police are still investigating the matter. Meanwhile, one person identified as Dickson Pelwa (25), on March 26, this year was knocked down by a vehicle with Registration Number 680 Isuzu and died instantly, Mr. Kombe said that the cause of the accident has not been
established and also the name of the driver has not been immediately known and
the police were still investigating the cause.
