Kiliflora Workers Fund to develop sports groundsby Erasto Jones Kiliflora Workers Development Fund expects to use about 10,531,200/- in developing and building sports grounds in Shangarai village and Leganga B primary school in Usa River in the near future. According to the chairman of the Fund, Deocar Collman Shao, the two sports grounds would be used by students and villagers. They will comprise football and netball grounds. He said the funds that they have set aside for the projects come from European flowers importers mostly in Switzerland. Apart from supporting sporting activities, Kiliflora workers fund has also formed acrobatic troupes that will be used for free performances during HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns in primary and secondary schools within Arusha region and nationwide. The Kiliflora Workers Development Fund was founded in April 2003 to provide community services to its members and communities. Until the end of February 2004, the fund had about 200 m/-.
