ABOVE: A collaborative efforts by women artists from Arusha and the US recently accompanied thetas of repairing one of the three statues at the Goliondoi-Makongoro roundabout. The statue of a woman had been damaged by unknown people who knocked off the head from the figure. Artists who took part in the project include; Lynn DiNino from Seattle, Washington, Nedra Bonds and Dr. Linda Cloud from Kansas City (USA) and Charlotte Hill O’Neal of UAACC.
