Arrested beggars out on bailby Matilda Kirenga Twenty people, among them disabled persons, who had recently been arrested and taken to court to answer loitering charges are out on bail. Appearing before the Primary Court Magistrate, Patrick Maligana, the accused were alleged to have broken the Section 176 of Human Resources Act Number 6 of 1976. Presented at the Maromboso primary court in Levolosi area, the charges indicated that the 20 accused persons were arrested by the Police Officer in-Charge of the Arusha district, SP-OCD F. Pomera. The arrested persons include, Samwel Samora (72), Kurwa Magembe (56), Eliza Lekembe (57), Mlembe Mshisha (45), Martha Selemani (68) and Masanja Maduhu, all from Shinyanga region. Others were; Clinton Zakayo (50), Msoka Msukuringo, Lemmy Tungule (48), all from Shinyanga and Theresia Paul (55) from Tabora. Sokon One ward residents are Asha Ibrahim, Fiesta Lazaro (61) and Maria Lazaro (49). Other beggars were named as; Petro Kurwa (60) from Tabora, Nathael Ibrahim (19) of Daraja Mbili, Kabla Nandaula from Mwanza and Simon Mayunga (29) from Mwanza. It was not immediately known when their case will come up for
another mention.
