Unending turmoil
At times it is like a movie
Images flying in patches
Guns of make on display
Roaring machine guns that aim
With precision and targets
And oceans doted with weaponry
Smoking the villains from hideouts
Patriotic young lions out to serve
Giving human kind a glimpse of light
From regimes that terrorize
Evil empires of patronage
That created monsters we cry foul of
At times it is like a movie
The unending turmoil of grieve
With blood letting and death
Innocent patriots misguided
With children scattered in fear
As terrorists hit and run
Back to their holes and castles
That lither the globe
The unending turmoil of grieve
Euphrates's and Tigris crying
Ancient civilizations lamenting
Replaced by land mines that explodes
Maiming even the angels
Euphrates and Tigris crying
The yawning vacuum evident
Is the ghost with mustache underground?
Or gone with the blast of blister bombs?
A million pound question!
As the make shift government stammer
Even the master transfixed |
