Mount Meru Bike Challenge introduces new feats

Ladies Trophy, Children route added for December 6 events

In addition to the existing line of biking trophies, this year’s Third Edition of the Annual Mount Meru Bike Challenge, has launched a new trophy.

The newly introduced, Ladies trophy, will be presented to the winner of the ladies’ category of this year’s bike challenge slated for next month.

At least, 50 participants are expected to take part in the Mount Meru Bike Challenge event scheduled for Saturday the 6^th of December.

The race, according to its organizers, will start from Moivaro Coffee Estate Lodge and is expected to climax there as well.

Registration for the race will be done at the Moivaro Coffee Lodge at about 12.00 noon and participants will be expected to bring their own bikes.

A special children route has also been designed around the lodge where treats like hot barbecue will also be going on in full swing.

Entrance fees are set for Tsh.10,000 for adult participants and Tsh.5,000 for the junior entrants, with the cash prizes totalling up to Tsh.300,000.
