Mystery woman died of knife wounds

By Staff Reporter

A medical autopsy has finally been performed onto the body of the unidentified woman who was murdered at the Eland Motel, in Arusha over three weeks ago.

Reliable sources at Mount Meru Hospital told this paper that, the woman could actually have died from two knife stabs into her neck.

"The knife blade was so thin that the wounds were barely visible and were only discovered during the post mortem", said the source who also took part in the procedures but preferred anonymity.

The results of the autopsy indicate that the killer had stabbed her and let the knife stay dug into her neck thus choking the wind pipe.

There were various knife stabs on the woman’s anatomy, two in the neck, one below her breasts, two on either thighs and another on the chest.

The two knife wounds in the neck, apparently had escaped police attention and were only discovered during last Tuesday autopsy, indicating that the killer (still at large) could be a seasoned murderer.

"The one below her breasts hit the rib cage but had less effect and so were the others even the one on the chest didn’t go deep".

Speaking on the earlier reports that the deceased could have been injected with rat poison whose packets, together with four syringes, were discovered beside her death bed, the source explained that, there were no traces of any chemical in her body.

"But there was a very dark spot beneath the chest wound which however also, remains a mystery". Officially, he explained, it was the neck stabs that actually killed her because the blades blocked air in the wind pipe.

"The killer was a very, very cruel person, because his methods were more than barbaric", said the source.

Her private parts remained untouched. "The killer didn’t have sex with her!" explained the source. This is despite the fact that, the lady and her killer had spent about three days together in room 305 on the third floor of Eland Motel.

The killer also tampered with the deceased hair which is reported to have been "Rasta"styled, but got chopped, leaving little mounds of it. The killer took the rest with him.

The decomposed body of the unidentified woman was expected to be buried by the Municipal Council on Thursday.
