Double Dutch to raise funds for Watotoby Our Correspondent
A special golf competition will be held at the Arusha Gymkhana Club this Saturday, October 25th to raise funds for the support of some 28 needy children staying at the "Happy Watoto Home" in Kikatiti, Arumeru district. The competition will coincide with the United Nations celebrations. The annual Double Dutch Competition to support Happy Watoto Home is expected to attract many participants and members of the community wishing to make their contributions. The Dutch sponsors of the home have brought along with them many prizes from the Netherlands which will be given out to the golf players after the competition. At 5.30 p.m, there will be an American Raffle of different items at the Arusha Gymkhana Club, to raise more funds for the home. The Dutch sponsors will double all charity money that will be raised at this special event. The Golf Captain, Beatus Kasegenya welcomes all members of the Club and other well wishers to participate in the sporting event with a noble motive.
