Some of the participants from African countries who attended a seminar on Sustainable Tourism Development on October 9 at Mweka, north of Moshi town. The seminar, which gathered participants from South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Mali, Uganda, Kenya and hosts, Tanzania, was sponsored by the Swedish International Development Aid. It was officially opened by the Managing Director of the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB),Mr. Peter Mwenguo who emphasized on the role of research in the tourism sectpor.(Photo by Raymond John).
