AICC tops first round of Regional Darts League

The Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) Darts team, has topped the first round of the ongoing, Arusha Regional Amateur Darts Championship.

AICC played nine games, won six of them, lost three and reaped 12 points, winning the premier phase of the league set to climax on the 26^th of October.

Kanana team, which won five out of the total nine games, but also with 12 points took the second position, ahead of the Loruvani in the third position.

The fixture for the second round of the Darts league, put the games on each Sunday as from

the 31^st of August to the 26^th of October.

Venues for the matches include, Usa River, Kanana-Sunrise, Loruvani, Patriot, Magereza, AICC and Moivo. A total of ten are participating in the league and these include, Usa River, Patriot, Kanana, Loruvani, First Ndovu, Sunrise, Moivo, AICC and Magereza.

The Managing Director of AICC, Patrick Tsere has contributed Tsh.150,000 an equal amount also contributed by the Arusha Branch Manager of Bank of Tanzania.

According to the Arusha Regional Amateur Darts Association (ARADA), the money will be invested in the purchase of trophies and other prizes, to be awarded in the climax ceremony, at the end of the league in October.
