Namanga -Arusha bike race slated for Sept. 21

The ‘Namanga - Arusha Dash’ bike race will take place on Sunday 21^st September. The gruelling race is organized by Adventure Sports & Leisure and the Arusha Cycling Club. According to the race coordinator, David Armon, participants are required to meet at the Novotel car park before 7.00 am on the morning of Sunday 21^st September to check registration and load bicycles for transportation to Namanga. An entry fee of Tsh.3,000/= is required from all participants and prizes will be given out to the first ten cyclists back to Arusha.

The race is to finish outside the Novotel Hotel with a presentation taking place in the front car park of the Hotel at 4.00 pm.

Armon told Arusha Times that the race organizers are grateful to Novotel for allowing them to use their premises and Ultimate Security for providing transport.
