His Holiness visits Arusha

Last week H. H. Dr. Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS),
the 92 year-old religious Head of the Dawoodi Bohra Muslim community world wide,
visited Arusha.
Saturday 6th September was a truly blessed day for
all Arusha Bohras. These lines of poetry are dedicated to the Holiness’ visit.
Jetting in through KIA,
Flying from Dar es Salaam,
On route to Nairobi, Kenya,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha
A red carpet welcome,
Ahlan Wasahlan Oh Moulana,
Thy visit was awesome,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha.
Though brought blessings in bundles,
Prayed for the country and people,
Our hope and inner wish rekindles,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha.
Tearful faithfuls flocked your car,
Mumineen multitudes came to masjid to see you,
Devoted followers came from near and far,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha.
To ‘cultural heritage' you paid a visit,
Like ex-President Clinton you honoured the place,
The ‘Geneva of Africa' you re-visit,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha.
A million gratitude is due to thee,
Though art a spiritual sovereign,
Showering rains of benedictions on our land and sea,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha.
May Allah bless you and yours,
With good health and long life,
Tanzania always welcomes you with open doors,
Dr. Burhanuddin came to Arusha.
