Patterns

Dar then the hub of liberation
Mazimbu, Kongwa, Nkrumah Street
Nyerere the icon burning with desire
Colonial bondage the pain, the anguish

Memories rekindled,
Kawawa now agile
Diamond Jubilee flocked
Emotions running high
Zimbabwe simmering with crunch
The master avenging

Bismarck diplomacy run amok
Bow or break
The pack singing in unison
Africa at the cross roads

It is now or never
As the python coils back
The patterns ever the same
May be Dar has spoken
GOD bless Africa
