The Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) has recorded great accomplishments. The centre has hosted a number of local and international seminars, meetings and workshops.

Due to that, AICC has been earning the country enormous revenues plus creating good international relationships between our country and other nations.

The centre is also spearheading proper environmental conservation for Arusha municipality, while also creating conducive working environment among both AICC employees and office tenants.

The series of international meetings which have been taking place at the AICC since 1978 have helped our staff to sharpen their skills in organising and hosting seminars and workshops at the centre.

This series kicked off with the mammoth "Group of 77" meeting which was held here in 1979. The growth of AICC came with the additional of conference rooms. We now have over five of them, plus constant improvements of the facilities.

Topped with modern, state of the art facilities, AICC has successfully made a name for itself worldwide.

At first, the tasks at the then established Arusha International Conference Centre were extremely difficult because most of our staff were simply transferred from the defunct East African Community.

But as we moved on, there had been tremendous improvements and developments. We started with things like manual typewriters but now we are at the cutting edge of high-tech.

And, unlike in the former EAC days, our working environment has also improved with better salary scales, good administration and proper facilities.
