Seclusion heals
Think of the four walls
Bed ridden in a hospital ward
With nurses in a bay and sleepy
Or in prison with anger that burns
With images mystified tenfold
Think of the silence and sobriety
The confinement and torture
That ebbs and surges in waves
With your soul and mind fusing
Like magma and lavas of volcanoes
At times eyes blinking and misty
Your soul roaming ghostly
Closer to Thee
And singing in silence
Fortress of high prisons of torture
Seclusion the theatre of mind
With humanity moulded for life
Like Mandela emerged with life
Shocking humankind with heart
Seclusion the theatre of mind
Mischievous revolts nibbled in bud
Clarity and vision the gift of mind
With dreams shrouded in mystery
As seclusion heals in earnest |
