Go regional in coverage

Dear Editor,

First and foremost I would like to thank the entire editorial team for giving us fresh and well researched daily news analysis online. This is very important for those of us who are away from home.

Mine is just a comment that is aimed at enriching your paper. I am (and believe there are quite a number of readers with similar preference) a reader who considers himself an East African and thus would love to read news commentaries on the three main members of the region as a different category to that of "African News".

The views expressed by all the papers in the region about developments in neighbouring member countries will contribute to the moulding of our shared identity as East African. Such diverse views and commentaries will also contribute to better understanding of events that are bond to affects us in one way or the other irrespective of our locality on either side of the borders. Tanzania played a unique and unparallel role in the democratization and safe guarding of human rights in Uganda (1978/9 War) so does Kenya plays in our economic development as a region.

Please give us your interpretation of events going on in other parts of the region (currently the East African by Nation Media Group is trying but we need a Weekly like yours to fill that gap).
