Goal keeper cries as Enaiboshu team gets thrown outArusha Day thrash Sekei, Bondeni banned from the gamesby Hamza Kalmera It was all tears and gnashing of teeth for the Enaiboshu Secondary School goal keeper, Goodluck Joseph who had to undergo the horror of watching five ball kicks zoom past him and into the nets. The scores threw his school out of the ongoing secondary schools ball game bonanza. The heroes of the Group C game which coincidentally also took place at the Enaiboshu school grounds, were non other than the Kimandolu secondary school team. Kimandolu school striker, Daniel Tryphone scored the first three goals, while the remaining two goals were netted in by Sadoki Jeremiah and Kelvin Thomas. Enaiboshu managed only one goal which was head scored by Haidau Tito but it was a very feeble attempt which didn’t save the school from the trash bin. Apparently the reason why the Enaiboshu goalkeeper cried is because the jubilant Kimandolu school players called him "Cheke Cheke" (A sieve) which irked him somehow. In Group A match, Arusha Day thrashed Sekei secondary 2 - 0 during a game played at Gymkhana Club grounds, all the goals were netted in by Challe Joseph. Still, two players from Arusha Day secondary team, were also sent out of the field on red cards for allegedly playing rough. Enaiboshu secondary school revenge came in netball when the team thrashed their Kimandolu foes 39 goals against 8. All the 39 goals were scored by Enaiboshu top netball scorer Neema Maturo who slammed the Kimandolu baskets without batting an eyelid. Enaiboshu secondary also thrashed Oldadai secondary 53 goals to 3 in a previous netball match, while Bondeni secondary school gets banned from the games for allegedly being too rough and insolent. |
