ARFA names Arusha’s under 20 soccer line-upby Nassib Majamba The Arusha Regional Football Association (ARFA) has formed an under 20 years old soccer team that will represent the region in this year’s under 20 national soccer league. ARFA’s general secretary, Morris Mgaya named the 30 players to be three goal keepers, David George from Tanzania-Canada team, Charles Madereke of Mringa and Major Mpamika from AFC. Almas Hassan of Police, Bakari Athuman (Boma), Aziz Rajab (Boma) Richard Elias (Meru Warriors) and Salum Kidungwe (Meru Warriors) are going to be the team defenders. Playing centre will be Malota Masimenti (St. James), Mustapha Waziri (Mawella), Asanguile Mwambandile (Police), David Lutta (Boma) and Salum Mtaki (Pallsons). Mid-field players are Nurdin Bakari (Elgon), Dennis Emmanuel (Ilboru secondary school), Seba Mohammed (AFC) and two freelance players; Seti Seti and Ally Nyoleko. The team strikers are going to be Mohammed Omar of Police, Abeid Abdallah (St. James), Salum Kombe (Mawella), Charles Milambo (Warriors) and a freelance striker, Philemon John. The under 20 Arusha soccer team wingers have been named as: Said Hamis (Boma), Chesidio Mathew (Warriors), Jerome Raphael (Freelance), Obeid Joseph (Freelance), Lameck Maganga (Freelance) and Stephen Shekiando (Charles). |
