Kasegenya heads golf section

Fidelis Malembeka, outgoing captain of the Club Golf Section.

Beatus Kasegenya was elected Captain of Arusha Gymkhana Club Golf Section at the Annual General Meeting held at the club house last Monday. Kasegenya takes over from Fidelis Malembeka who did not seek re‑election. Kasegenya is a veteran club administrator and has held various club positions in the past including that of Club Chairman for four years.

The Vice Captain is Jatin Sonecha who takes over from Alfred Alleyne who has left the country. Treasurer is Frumemce Mbuya who was Secretary for four years. Paul Matthysen is the new Secretary. Others elected were Harbajan Chadha as Green Keeper to be assisted by Tony Schwaller. Moe Bachu is a Committee member. Amir Somji retained his position as Golf Section Chairman.
