TANESCO overwhelmed by high demand

As more customers apply for service lines from the Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) in Arusha,  the company’s regional manager, Christopher J. Masasi has said that there are 2,142 others on TANESCO’s waiting list.

According to Masasi, 305 of them had applied for power connections since the beginning of this year....  Full story

 

Arusha residents volunteer to feed street children

Street children in Arusha municipality will no longer have to starve, as free meals are now being provided to them at the Calvary Temple Church daily from Monday to Thursday.

This feeding programme is being organized and sponsored by well-meaning residents of Arusha who have teamed up to form the Friends of Children Organizations....  Full story
