Girl Guides observe 'Thinking Day'The Tanzania Girl Guides Association, Arusha Region conducted various activities last week to commemorate the birthday of the association founder Lord Baden Powell and his wife Lady Oliva Powell. February 22 is dubbed “Thinking Day” when Guides think about each other with love and friendship. Among activities conducted by the Girl Guides include planting of trees, cleaning premises, visiting children in hospitals and orphanages and staging entertainment performances.
